"Thank you, My Talented Sister"

Okay, so I went a little over board with pictures, but I couldn't help myself she looked so darling in this outfit. I don't think I have ever heard so many oohs and ahhhs over a little girl before. Everywhere she went today people commented on how darling she looked and on the cutest outfit they have seen. I hate to brag but I feel I must, and it's not so bad because I didn't make the outfit my amazing sister did, so really I am bragging for her which is ok? right?

Just look how cute this pink knitted dress and hat are. If you look close you can see the owl pattern in the dress and the two buttons are the eyes. SO CUTE, I just love it, and want to say thank you very much to my very sweet and talented older sister. I only wish I had half her talent. Below you will find several pictures of my sweet little girl in this cute dress as well as another cute dress my sister made. I love them both, as well as all the comments when she wears them. There is nothing like something homemade. I think of my wonderful sister every time she wears them which is a double bonus. THANK YOU!

The pictures don't really do them justice, but they will have to do.

Johnny's 8th birthday is today and I honestly do not know where the time has gone! Kelley and I still talk about his birth and how it only seems like yesterday that we were commenting on how big his hands were when he came out those 8 years ago. Little did we know that the size of his hands were no match for his large caring heart. Our little guy is the most fun loving care free kid we know and we could not have asked for a better kid to lead the family. He is trustworthy, very helpful (our gopher for about everything), caring and just down right a nice kid. Greg Carver keeps telling us to get him into football but I don't think he has in him the ability to potentially hurt another kid (unless the other kid lays a hand on Mitchell then watch out). He is to sweet of a kid and just wants to play with his brothers or Mitchell. We are so excited for him to get baptized with his cousin Mitchell in a few short weeks. Thank you Johnny for being such a tremendous son and brother to your family. We love you so much and are so thankful you are a part of our lives. We hope you have a wonderful birthday!

OBX 2009

Oh won't you take me here?

Best under water shot! She looks like a beautiful little mermaid.

My second favorite underwater shot.

Random shots of everyone. (some more than others)

It's no wonder we look forward to this week all year long. I am already counting down till next time. If only it was longer than a week. The kids have so much fun and get lots of bonding in with cousins as well as the adults. It's hard to believe we are back to reality and back to school. I will forever be a fan of SUMMER.

Summer Time and the Livens Easy

It stinks when summer comes to an end, but at least we got to end it with our favorite thing.

All the boys tried wake-boarding on their own this year and got up on their first try. We could hardly believe it. They got up and stayed up. Way to go boys!

Wouldn't be complete without a set of these.

Pictures of the fair and the good old lake

We love Deep Creek and the Girts Family who give us the highlight of our summer.

Baby Room

Okay so here is a glimpse of the babes room and it is not finished but it might take my Mom coming out to visit to get the finishing details done. She is the one that got it this far. (A BIG thanks to you Mom, you are the best-loves)

My mom drew this cute picture for me.

A BIG thanks to my sister Corrie who gave me the beautiful quilts that made the room. She is so very talented and I feel very lucky to own some of her great works.
I think it looks better in person, but since Cali wanted to see it, and she lives far far away she is just going to have to look at the pics. Either way it is fun to finally have some pink in the house.
