Sunday Activities

Throughout most Mormon families Sundays consist of or a variation of:

First - Waking up hoping it's not fast Sunday

Second - Getting ready for church.

Third - Walk into church and enjoy an hour and 10 minutes of babysitting if you have a toddler that does not like to sit and color or draw with his big brothers. Today at Stake Conference they were all simply amazing. We actually heard every talk.

Fourth - Drive home wishing there was something good to eat at the house for lunch (if its not fast sunday). Today it was eggs and toast.

Fifth - Since church was over at noon we forced our kids into a nap when we got home with the bribe that they could do this!!!!!

It was a mighty fine 2 hour nap!!!

I think locking them in their rooms would've been a touch less "graphic" ;)

Gracie did the dame thing to herself yesterday with washable face paints - only they weren't so washable so she went to church looking like she'd fallen down the stairs - she really looked a bruised up. I wonder what the nursery leaders thought?

Also, I think your boys have a great eye for art!

I can't believe it. I bet that felt so good to have your back tickled for that long.
Those boys have real potential.

You are a complete freak! That is so funny, I thought the last session I saw was bad. This one blows it out of the water. There is no chance that all came off the next day, right?

That is what we are going to do next Sunday. Todd doesn't know it, but the markers are being purchased first thing tomorrow (they are the sharpie permanent ones, right?) Oh, that is awesome!!!! johnny... where DO YOU get these crazy ideas of yours?

Washable markers they come right off. But be careful, they get all over the kids hands and arms. Everyone needs a shower after this activity.

I am not sure I even have a comment....Very interesting. I am an art fan, but I am not sure this would be allowed in my house and I know Eric would never sit long enough to even have an inch colored. You both must have been real "tired".... (o:

Very art worthy!! Chad's right our house isn't and wasn't any fun. We never had any such activities when you were growing up. Of Course it would have been a little "hairier" in our household. Keep having fun and enjoying each other! Love mom
